Leaders who want to make a difference in the world
I spent my youth and formative years in Southern Africa and, after adventures backpacking around Europe, found myself joining the British Army. This chapter in my life helped develop an appreciation for what we, in the West, take for granted. Experiences in many colourful – and some less so – regions of the world where people survive and thrive in incredible situations. It also shaped my experience through exposure to extreme environments, challenging leadership situations and making sense of chaos.
I graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and later completed an MSc in International Affairs. I have since developed my coaching skills in the areas of leadership and high performing teams.
My coach philosophy is based upon developing an anti-fragile mindset: linking the past-present-future to create a purpose; focusing on actions that are within ones control; and viewing adversity as an opportunity to grow stronger.
I enjoy partnering with leaders and teams who want to make a difference in the world and am equally prevalent with those facing extreme challenge and change in their lives – especially in a time of so much ‘noise’.
I devote my spare time to family; with outdoor activities and nurturing my love for sport as a main focus.
